Thank you.
ARCs are out in the world
I don’t know where to start. Maybe with just a thank you for how ARCs have been received and on Netgalley we bumped from page 22 of the Most Requested Romance Book to page 13 in just three days. It might not be like a huge accomplishment, but I’m an indie author, to her first Netgalley experience, and this feels huge to me.
But the thank you goes not just for reading my book. The thank you goes for the support I received this week after on Wednesday 11th, we lost our dog Nimbus. It was sudden, heart breaking, and I’m crying more than I ever cried in life.
Salacia Project is a book about grief, and I should be used to this pain that comes with grief, but yeah—I don’t think you can ever get used to it. With Nimbus I’ve been sharing my life daily for the past 6 years. Plus, he was a big dog, and somehow, you can notice the house is empty without him. He doesn’t fill the rooms with his presence, his barking, his jumps, and when I notice it, when my brain registers I won’t see him again, then I burst out crying.
But these ARCs being send out, they probably saved me. It shows me that I still have to push through, that I have a dream and I have to achieve it.
Now 10 people have preordered the ebook and 2 people have preordered from my website (if you are in Europe). If you are in the States, you can preorder the paperback from Scribbles Bookshop. The paperbacks all come with goodies.
Again, thank you so much for everything, for reading Salacia Project, and hopefully to enjoy it. And thank you so much for the nice words towards Nimbus. That meant even more to me.
If you want to read the book in advance, request it on Netgalley at this link
